What it is
Jelly is a reflex game for the browser. You control a block of jelly at the bottom of a vertical screen while walls come down from above. Some have a narrow slit in the middle; others are bars that stop hanging very low and leave a horizontal gap.
The trick is the shape of the block: stretch it and it gets thin and tall, let go and it spreads wide and flat, but its area never changes. Thin fits through the slit; wide and low slides under the bar. Every obstacle you clear is one point, a crash ends the run and one tap restarts it at once. As your score grows, the walls fall faster and arrive closer together.
With a finger or the mouse
With a finger or the mouse: hold to get thin and release to get wide. The first touch starts the run.
With the keyboard
With the keyboard: hold the space bar. Escape or the P key pauses the game.
Daily challenge
Pick “Daily challenge” on the start screen or after a run. On that day everyone gets the same obstacle order, and your best score for today is saved separately on your own device. Today’s challenge is the same for everyone on each difficulty, and each one keeps its own best score.
Difficulty
You can play Normal, Hard or Extreme. On the last two the walls fall faster and the slits are narrower from the start. Each keeps its own best score.
