What it is
Fuzz is a level-based action game for the browser. Pom, a dandelion seed, drifts down toward a flower waiting at the bottom. You do not steer: you decide how much it lets the wind carry it. While you hold, Pom opens its tuft, falls slowly and the wind in the arrows pushes it sideways. When you release, it closes, falls much faster and the wind no longer moves it. Land on the flower; landing off to one side loses the level.
Along the way there are brambles, bumblebees that fly back and forth, faster dragonflies and, in the Storm, thunderclouds: the column is marked with dots one second before the lightning strikes. In the Canyon, up arrows lift you while you hold. Grains of pollen are optional, but they count toward the stars.
With a finger or the mouse
With a finger or the mouse: press and hold anywhere on the screen to open Pom and let go to close it. Dragging changes nothing. A touch that starts at the edge of the screen does not count.
With the keyboard
With the keyboard: hold Space, Enter, the up or down arrow, or the W or S key. Escape or the P key pauses the game; if the window loses focus, it pauses too.
Levels and stars
There are three worlds of eight levels: Meadow, Canyon and Storm. Each level gives one to three stars: one for landing on the flower, another for also collecting all the pollen, and the third for doing it within the time shown. A level opens once you earn at least one star in the previous one. Your progress is saved on your device.
Difficulty
Each level you clear opens on Hard, with a time limit, and then on Extreme, where the limit is par. Each difficulty keeps its own stars.
